Recently, I signed up for a free software as a service called Attract.IO, where it’s objective is to help entrepreneurs to rapidly create stunning lead magnets. I had never used the software before, but I wanted to put it to the test — see if it was something that I could use for myself or for clients on a regular basis.
If you are close to me, you know that I have been OBSESSING over Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) lately and I’ve been creating checklists for just about everything under the sun — topics like: how Twitch creators can hack their traffic to build a cross-platform following; how to win more games in Warzone; the bedtime routine for Deklan (my 3 yr old), etc.
When I woke up this morning, I had an urge to write down in my notes app a checklist for a more practical, business-related topic: The Cheat Sheet For Bulk Media Creation for Solopreneurs. It came to me quick, like 5 minutes tops!
When I looked it over, I realized this need to be fleshed out and turned into something more consumable and easier to find, so myself and other people can get some benefit out of it — so I created a doc in my ClickUp, and while finishing that, I realized I could do better and create a PDF Lead Magnet.
It fit all the criteria for a perfect lead magnet — short, easy to consume, clear message, all relevant data included, etc…
Usually, I would go right into Canva and start designing using some of the nice templates that I have created over the years, but I didn’t want the process to take as long as one of those projects could take (I have a tendency to try to make everything perfect…) so I tried something else.

I opened up Attract.IO and started to create.
I saw that they had a handful templates, so I chose one and took off!
Because I created all the content beforehand, the lead magnet itself was a snap. If you watch the video, you’ll see it took me just under 16 minutes to get to a workable draft, less minor tweaks and candidates for my perfection tendencies.
As a matter of fact (rewatching the video), if I already had the introduction letter portion written, it would have taken me around 8 or 9 minutes. Wow!
I’m definitely using this service again.
